Let Your Idea Organically Grow Into a Beautiful Product

Hi! My name is Marija.

You can hire me as UX/UI Designer or Product/Project Manager for the project(s) you have in mind.

Given how technology is so deeply entwined in society, I believe that software designers directly impact human behavior and influence habit forming (good or bad) which creates a ripple effect on how society evolves. There’s where I see an opportunity to make a social impact, hopefully for the better!

Do you have any of the following ideas in mind?

If you have health & nutrition, fitness & sports, life coaching, art & fashion, books & education, travel or a similar idea in mind and you need a creative consultant to help you implement, you've come to the right place!

I tend to get lost in Music & Books stores, where I'm getting inspired by the designs around me. This is my process ...
Coffee, chilled background music & relaxed working atmosphere are the essentials for my work day. So, rest assured, your idea is being organically grown into a beautiful product.

These are my fortes

Over the past 7 years I have worked on numerous WordPress projects, as a designer, project manager or maintenance manager. My knowledge of WordPress is broad as I have worked with different WordPress content builders and premium themes. Based on my experience I recommend Elementor over any other WordPress content builder and choose to work exclusively with it.
Webflow is another awesome CMS to build and easily maintain your websites.
My prototypes are made in Adobe XD.

Marija has become an absolute core part of my team. As an agency owner, I had been searching for 6 months for a 'clone' of myself that I can trust to accomplish anything as needed by my wide scope of work with clients. Someone who can literally take any project with little direction and supervision, and accomplish it based on high level goals. Marija is that person. Her client communication skills, technical knowledge, design centric thinking, and attention to detailed is unrivaled. She designs entire sites, she gets her hands dirty in the code, she manages entire teams, she has flawless english. I've hired more than $30,000 in contractors on Upwork to date, and I can say with total confidence Marija was (and still is) one of the most valuable people I've ever hired on the platform. I would give 10 stars out of 5 if upwork let me.
Marija started as my Virtual Assistant and quickly grew into much more. Any time Marija was asked to handle additional responsibilities, she took on the challenge enthusiastically. Her duties by the end of her employment included everything from setting up servers and Wordpress sites, to managing Facebook Ad campaigns, creating email marketing newsletters, helping with graphic design projects and so much more. She has a strong aptitude for marketing and what can make a campaign succeed or fail. Her English is phenomenal. We frequently had her dealing direct with our customers in Canada with 0 issues. She is reliable and was available at 8am local time every workday. Her communication between employees was always cheerful and added a level of pleasantness not usually seen with many freelancers.

Few stand-alone projects

Most of my projects are under the portfolio for the companies I have worked for, me being one of the team members.
Here I can post only couple of examples where I can take all of the credit for the completed product.
Starting from the UX Design trough the Web Development, here is how I turned client's ideas into functioning websites.
Dr. Briggs is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Eastern Michigan University. More specifically in applied behavior analysis and developmental disabilities. Dr. Briggs needed a website to publish his team's efforts and accomplishments. It was an honor to support such a beautiful project.
Sandra is a Reiki Master from Vienna and a good friend of mine. Sandra needed a website so she can get online appointments and had a very clear vision of how her website should look like. Following her directions and specifications for a simple and elegant visual representation, we came to a solution that made her happy.  Built in Webflow.
Joey and Jelena are the owners of the co-working | co-living space in Briancon, France. They needed a website so they can get online bookings from digital nomads all over the world. They also needed to promote their lovely place in the French Alps. Joey and Jelena approved the prototype I presented and so I made them a website. Built in WordPress.
